Flammability

Depending on the test method specified, flammability tests determine critical safety factors such as:

Ease of ignition
Rate of flame propagation
After-flame duration (period of continued burning after ignition source is extinguished)
After-glow (period of glowing after burning ends).

We are particularly well qualified to perform the various flammability tests, as our Associate Director, Kadir Donmez, completed post graduate research on the flammability of leather, achieving an MSC for his work at the University of Cincinnati in 1986.
