The Leather Research Laboratory serves the research, technical and testing needs of tanneries, leather product manufacturers, retailers, and all other related businesses. Our research fees are formulated to cover our operating costs on a not-for-profit basis.
Unfortunately, while we are a not-for-profit organization, our research fees generally exceed the level that can be justified by individual consumers, and leather product testing is always destructive, providing another good reason why you shouldn't expect us to investigate that unsatisfactory sofa!
Also, we do not possess the resources required to answer questions from private individuals.
